Les Masses & Val d'Herens
The chalet, at about 1450m, is situated in the beautiful Val d'Herens, a quiet rural valley, with stunning views of nearby mountains including Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn. The chalet is about 1.5km from the small village of Les Masses, with a restaurant and small food store, and about 4km from Les Collons, with shops, restaurants, bars, ski rental shop and ski school. Heremence, at 3km, has a boulangerie and a boucherie as well as a mini-supermarket, post office and bank (ATM).
The beautiful regional capital of Sion, with its picturesque historical centre is 20 minutes drive at the bottom of the mountain.
The drive from Geneva airport is about 1 hour 45 mins (starting winter 2017 there are also weekly flights from London direct to Sion).
